The decision ledger
Find version decisions without taking over a channel's Canvas.

By default, Arialine posts a secondary ledger for each board and refreshes it as versions change. It records the timeline, summaries, authors, dates and linked source decisions. The current diagram and Mermaid source remain on the board; the ledger does not replace them.
On a Slack plan that allows standalone Canvases, a newly created board can have its own Arialine-managed standalone ledger Canvas. Slack Free does not allow standalone Canvases, so Arialine posts and updates a ledger message in that board's thread instead. It never takes the channel's single Canvas tab, even if the tab is empty. Earlier Arialine versions may have created a ledger in a channel tab; that existing Canvas is preserved and is no longer overwritten. The thread ledger contains version and decision summaries with source links; a standalone Canvas also embeds rendered images. Arialine's Free/Team billing plan is separate from your Slack plan.
Channel members can turn automatic ledger posting off with /arialine ledger off or the App Home channel-settings switch, and back on with /arialine ledger on. This does not delete existing ledgers or stored board history. It affects future automatic posting; turning it back on does not retroactively publish an unchanged board.
