Stop storing pasted Mermaid (workspace privacy)
Let pasted Mermaid be rendered once and never kept.

By default, pasted Mermaid becomes a board so your team can edit it, see its history and export it. If your workspace prefers that pasted diagrams are never stored (Mermaid typed after /arialine, or pasted with Paste Mermaid code in the New diagram form), a Slack workspace owner or admin can run /arialine privacy save off, or use the Stop saving button under Workspace privacy in App Home. Anyone can see the current policy with /arialine privacy.
With saving off, valid Mermaid pasted either way is rendered and posted to Slack without creating a board, version, decision or repair record. The message notes that the diagram was not saved. Invalid Mermaid pasted that way gets its parse error but is not repaired or kept.
Still saved: descriptions in the New diagram form, mentions, .mmd files, diagrams created with AI, pasted Mermaid that comes with an edit request (the edit needs a board), and boards that already exist. Turn saving back on with /arialine privacy save on. The files posted to Slack follow your Slack workspace's own retention.
