What happens when a Team subscription ends

Understand what stays available when a workspace returns to the Free plan.

If a Team subscription is canceled, paused, or otherwise no longer entitled, the workspace returns to the Free plan after the provider state is applied. Arialine does not delete or hide existing boards. A workspace keeps its diagrams, versions, edits, history, decisions, exports, and canvases.

Free limits a workspace to three boards and each board to 8 versions. If the workspace already has more than three boards, all existing boards stay available, but creating another board or branch is unavailable until the workspace upgrades again; pasted Mermaid is still rendered, as a one-off image that isn't saved as a board. A branch counts as a new board.

Boards that went past v8 on Team keep every version and stay readable, with history, decisions and exports. They stop accepting new versions (edits, proposals, Undo and Rewind) until the workspace upgrades again. Boards below v8 can still be edited up to v8.

Paddle remains the authority for payment status and payer-facing billing email. Workspace owners and admins see the workspace entitlement controls in Arialine, while payer invoices and payment methods remain with the payer in Paddle.
