Arialine slash command reference

Type /arialine on its own to open the New diagram form. Pick Describe it to have Arialine's AI draft the diagram from plain language, or Paste Mermaid code to render your Mermaid exactly as written, without AI. The channel you typed the command in is preselected. You get a board with the channel's diagram files (a PNG and an interactive HTML file by default) and a thread for later edits and versions. You can also type /arialine followed by the Mermaid itself to render it straight away.

Run the commands below in the channel you want to configure. Settings are per channel, not workspace-wide; App Home offers the same controls after you choose a channel. /arialine help explains each way to use Arialine and lists every command with its current value in this channel and workspace; /arialine settings (also config or status) shows only the values.

/arialine edits proposal|direct — addressed edits become review proposals (default) or apply directly. Proposal mode is a review workflow, not an owner-only security approval gate for every tool.

/arialine updates thread|channel — version replies stay in the board thread (default) or are also announced in the channel.

/arialine ledger on|off — automatically post and refresh board decision ledgers (on by default). Turning off does not erase board history or old ledger posts.

/arialine md thread|new — post Markdown-to-Canvas links in the source thread (default) or a new channel message. /arialine md auto on|off — automatically render shared .md files (on by default).

/arialine mmd auto on|off — automatically create a board from shared .mmd files (on by default). /arialine mmd text on|off — automatically render Mermaid blocks pasted as message text (off by default).

/arialine validate on|off — automatically repair invalid Mermaid (on by default) or show a manual fix button; valid Mermaid renders in either mode.

/arialine files both|png|html — which diagram files each new version posts in this channel: a PNG and an interactive HTML file (default), only the PNG, or only the HTML. Exports are unaffected.

/arialine privacy — show the workspace privacy policy. Workspace owners and admins can run /arialine privacy save off to stop Arialine storing Mermaid pasted with /arialine (typed after the command, or with Paste Mermaid code in the New diagram form), and /arialine privacy save on to turn it back on. This is the only workspace-wide setting.

/arialine upgrade — view workspace board usage and billing access. Billing management is restricted to Slack workspace owners/admins; changing channel behavior does not change billing.
