Mermaid source and .mmd files

Create diagrams from Mermaid code, pasted code blocks, or Mermaid files.

Fastest way: type /arialine followed by your Mermaid, or /arialine alone to open the New diagram form, choose a channel, pick Paste Mermaid code, paste your Mermaid and press Create. Valid Mermaid is rendered exactly as written without calling an AI model, so it does not use the Free plan's daily AI generations.

Arialine can create diagrams directly from valid Mermaid source. You can attach a .mmd or .mermaid file, paste Mermaid in an explicitly addressed message, or use the Render as diagram shortcut on an existing message.

Shared .mmd files can also create boards automatically when that channel's automatic Mermaid-file setting is enabled. Pasted Mermaid text is intentionally a separate setting and is off by default to avoid treating code snippets in normal discussion as commands.

If Mermaid is invalid, Arialine either repairs it automatically or offers a manual Let Arialine fix it action depending on the channel's validation setting. Valid Mermaid always renders directly.

Every Mermaid 12 diagram type is supported, including ZenUML; see Supported diagram types. Front matter (--- config blocks) and %%{init}%% directives stay with the diagram. If your workspace has turned off saving pasted Mermaid, valid Mermaid pasted with /arialine or with Paste Mermaid code in the New diagram form is posted once and not kept, so it can't be edited later; invalid Mermaid pasted that way shows the parse error instead of being repaired. Other paths, including .mmd files, still create boards.
