Slack context and AI processing

How Slack discussion is found and when content is sent to an AI provider.

In channels where Arialine is invited, recent human discussion may be kept for up to 72 hours so a later explicit request can refer to it naturally. A scheduled cleanup removes expired context. Ordinary messages do not by themselves invoke an AI model or change a board.

When you explicitly ask for an older discussion, Arialine may use Slack's Real-time Search. Keyword search is the baseline. Semantic search is used only when your Slack workspace includes Slack AI Search. Search results remain limited by your Slack access. Arialine does not persist Real-time Search results as a separate conversation archive.

When you explicitly invoke an AI-backed feature, the instruction, diagram source, and bounded context needed for that request may be sent through the configured AI model provider. See the current Arialine Privacy Policy for the authoritative provider, retention, subprocessors, and legal details.

Arialine answers in the language of your request and tells the AI model to write replies and new diagram labels in that language.
